School Information

We are a happy, friendly and ambitious primary school at the heart of the Hillmorton community, with over 420 pupils on roll. From Reception to Year 6 we have two classes in each year group, and we also run our own preschool offering up to 24 places each morning and afternoon. Most of our children live locally, giving us a strong sense of community and identity.

From 1st September 2025, we were delighted to join the family of schools that form the Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust, strengthening our ability to offer the very best education and opportunities for our pupils. As a forward-thinking and innovative school, we are proud to be an accredited International School Award winner, holders of the Primary Science Quality Mark, and recipients of the Gold Primary Games Mark.

We are a National Support School and lead the Hillmorton Primary School Alliance, providing high-quality training and sharing excellent practice with other schools. We are also an associate school with the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) and a partner school with Mathematics Mastery.

Our pupils contribute actively to our community—taking part in local projects such as litter-picking, supporting charities, and building strong links with neighbouring schools and local faith groups. These experiences enrich their education and nurture a sense of responsibility and belonging.

Relationships are at the heart of Hillmorton. Our pupils show care for one another, inspired by the example set within our school family. We teach children to be outstanding learners by embedding our school values, which are displayed in every classroom as a daily reminder of the qualities we strive to live by.

Our curriculum is one of our greatest strengths. Organised into half-termly learning themes centred around high-quality and inspiring texts, it gives equal emphasis to creativity, knowledge and skills. Maths, Reading and Writing are prioritised alongside a broad and balanced curriculum. Music, the arts and sport play a central role, and pupils also enjoy the opportunity to learn Spanish from Years 3–6.

At Hillmorton Primary, we aim to nurture curious, confident and compassionate learners who are ready to embrace the challenges of the future.
