Our primary aim is to provide safe and enjoyable childcare for children who attend Hillmorton Primary School, on every day that school is open. We offer this provision to children from Reception Year to Year Six.
Prior to your child’s first session at either Breakfast or After School Club, you will need to fill out a registration form – please collect one of these from the school office or print one off from Sims Pay. It is wise to fill out one of these if you think you may ever need the club at short notice as the club leader will need access to this information.
Please ensure you are signed up to Sims Pay to be able to book. Once the club is at its capacity, we will not be able to take any additional bookings due to ratios. Dates will be available to book a month in advance. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds due to non-attendance so we advise that you do not book too far in advance. Booking and paying through the online system gives you the flexibility to book in last minute, should something come up, providing there is availability.
The club will run Monday-Friday 08:00am – 08:45am.
Sessions must be booked in advance via SIMS PAY and will be at a daily cost of £4. Children in the early years provision will be taken through to their classrooms ready for the start of the school day.
During the club, provisions will be made for the children to have breakfast such as toast, cereal, fruit, juice and milk whilst also having the opportunity to take part in games, reading as well as other activities to prepare them for the start of the school day. These activities change regularly, and are closely supervised by staff, encouraging social play and interaction. We pride ourselves on being well resourced.
Children must be walked to the club entrance and signed in by an Adult. They are not to walk to the club by themselves, unless they are in Year 6 and this has previously been agreed by the senior leadership team.
After School Club
Hillmorton Primary School offers an After School Club Monday-Friday, term time only.
The club will run Monday-Thursday 3.30pm-6pm at a cost of £8.50 per session, and 3.30pm-5.45 on a Friday at a cost of £8.
If a child is not collected by the end of the session, then an additional £5 will be charged per 15 minutes. This will need to be paid prior to their next attendance.
During the club, provisions will be made for arts and crafts, games, reading as well as the opportunity for children to complete homework if required. These activities change regularly, and are closely supervised by staff, encouraging social play and interaction. Refreshments will be provided during the session. Please note that this will be a light snack, such as fruit and biscuits as well as squash.
If you have not booked your child into the club, they will not be able to attend and you will be contacted to collect them immediately.
Your child will need to be signed out of the club when leaving. No-one under the age of 16 will be allowed to collect children from the club and only those on the collection form will be able to collect. Children will not be allowed to leave the club to walk home alone under any circumstances.
