Hillmorton Primary School - Wraparound Care
At Hillmorton Primary School we are very proud to be able to offer a “Wraparound Care” facility to our pupils and parents. The Wraparound Care service is available to all pupils that are registered at Hillmorton Primary and are in full time education. All children are under full adult supervision at all times.
Aims
- To provide a welcoming, safe, secure environment for pupils.
- To enable pupils to eat breakfast before the start of the school day /have an after school snack in a pleasant, relaxed environment.
- To provide a calm play environment for pupils.
- To encourage physical activities to promote healthy living.
Staffing
All staff that work at the Wraparound Care are employed following the Hillmorton Primary School recruitment process. All members of staff hold current DBS checks and have had up to date safeguarding training. There is always a member of staff on duty who is first aid trained.

Breakfast Club
During term time we offer an early morning breakfast club from 8am – 8.50am. Children are dropped at breakfast club by their parent/carer and signed in by a member of staff.
Children in foundation stage, year 1 and year 2 are escorted to their classrooms while children in KS2 will make their own way to their classroom. Children are encouraged to have breakfast whilst at the club. There is free play, organised activities and the opportunity to complete homework. Breakfast includes, but is not limited to, a choice of toast and cereals and we encourage children to drink water or milk with their breakfast.
After School Club
During term time, we offer after school club from 3.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
Registers are sent to class teachers at 3pm daily, so they are aware of who is attending the After School provision. When school finishes at 3.30pm, children in foundation stage and KS1 are escorted to the facility. Children who are in years 3, 4,5 and 6 walk independently from their class room down to the room to be registered.
When collecting your children from Wraparound Care After School Club, you will sign the children out and we will make a note of the collection time.
Late collection from the facility after closing time is charged £5 per 15 minutes, and this will need to be paid prior to any future attendance.
If your child is booked into an extra-curricular club as well as the after school club, a member of the After School Club team will cross reference the Wraparound Care register with the club register so that children who need to attend Wraparound Care post clubs can be collected by a member of the Wraparound Care team.
Booking and Payment Information
Breakfast club is currently charged at £5.00 per session.
After School Club is charged at £9.50 per session
All sessions booked are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Under no circumstances will we be able to do this. Fees are subject to change at any time, written notice will be issued should this occur.
Children must be booked into the Breakfast and After School club in advance. This will ensure staff to children ratios are correct and sufficient food can be provided. Please ensure that a registration form is also filled out.
You are able to change the date of a booking on the system yourself up until the booking deadline, once this has passed there will be no option to change dates or for session fees to be reimbursed to your wraparound account. Funds for any cancelled sessions made before the booking deadline will be returned to your School Gateway account balance, not the card you made payment with. Should you require funds to be refunded to your card, a 12% system fee will be deducted from the amount to be refunded. If you think you are going to be later than 3:30pm to collect your child from school and have not booked them into the after school club, please notify the school office on 01788 544309. Any child who is not picked up by 3.45pm will be placed in the Wraparound Care facilities if there is availability (A charge for the whole session at Wraparound Care will be made).
Paying via Childcare Vouchers or Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme
This type of payment can only be accepted for Wraparound care – NOT Activity Clubs, trips or dinners.
In order to book sessions and to allow time for the payment to clear in the schools account prior to the session being taken, we require at least 5 school days notice. Any sessions required within the required notice period must be booked/paid via School Gateway online. There will be no exceptions to this. Please be advised that the school is closed during the holidays and that these days are not included as part of the notice period.
Please send through all transfer notifications of the payment reference number to wraparound@hillmortonprimaryschool.com so that we can cross reference the payment.
Once payment transfers have been checked and verified, the transferred amount will be allocated to your child’s School Gateway account for you to then book the sessions required. Booking must be made by yourselves, and if your wraparound account is not in credit you will be required to make a card payment to secure the dates requested. Your child will not be on the club register without payment being made in advance.
