Rugby and District Schools Swimming Gala
Mon 20 Mar 2023On Saturday 18th March a group of children from years 5 and 6 represented our school at the Rugby Schools swimming gala. Not only were we impressed with their swimming, determination and resilience but their support for each other was inspiring. We even managed to achieve first place in the Year 5 Girls Freestyle Relay - well done Team Hillmorton! We are incredibly proud.

New Musical Instruments
Wed 01 Feb 2023A huge thank you to Mr Van Laar and his team at Road Chef who raised an amazing £1029.25 for Hillmorton Primary School by selling second hand books. We have used this money to purchase a range of new musical instruments to support our Music Curriculum.

Thank you from Rugby Food Bank!
Fri 14 Oct 2022Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from John Hemmings from Rugby Food Bank. With the help of School Councillors from Year 1 and Year 2, he spoke to the younger children about what the food bank does and how it helps people in our community. He was very impressed with our collection, and he wishes to thank you for all your generous contributions.

Commemorating HRH Queen Elizabeth II
Mon 12 Sep 2022On behalf of the staff, governors and children we join the nation in expressing our sadness on the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
A period of National Mourning has started and will continue until the end of the State Funeral. This is a period of time for reflection in response to the death of the Sovereign.
The official date of the State Funeral has been marked as Monday 19 September 2022. This day has been designated as a bank holiday and school will be closed on this day as a mark of respect. Children will return to school on Tuesday 20th September. -

School Games Mark
Mon 18 Jul 2022We have been awarded the Bronze Award for the School Games Mark 2021/22.
We are very pleased with all the hard work and effort the children have put in to their PE lesson and how well our Sports Leaders have worked this year.

EYFS/KS1 Sports Day
